Welcome to the
Tay Sail Training Association
**********************
THRILLS, SKILLS AND
SPILLS
Sailing is one of
the finest sports available combining the thrills of working
with the elements, the skills of seamanship and the spills
invariably associated with keen competition.
Learning to sail is
not as difficult as you might think and indeed not as expensive
as might be feared.
The Tay Sail
Training Association provides a great opportunity to get you
started and help you progress.
All training is
carried out under the jurisdiction of the RYA and certificates
can be awarded, where appropriate.
The TSTA, from its
base at the Royal Tay Yacht Club, operates as an approved RYA
Training Centre.
For the 2008 season, the TSTA will be
offering offer a special promotional package which includes RTYC
membership (subject to acceptance) and a two day practical
sailing or powerboat course for £125.
To learn
more about course content or course dates and fees, please click

Dates for the Autumn
/ Winter 2008 shorebased training courses will be announced
sometime during September.

The Fairway,
named after a navigation mark located at the entrance to the River
Tay.
Owned by the
TSTA, the Fairway is one of a fleet of kestrel dinghies used
during Learn to Sail courses. |
