OBJECTIVES OF THE

TAY SAIL TRAINING ASSOCIATION

As a recognised Charity, the Tay Sail Training Association (TSTA) is required to have an approved Constitution.  Within the Constitution the stated objective of the TSTA is:

"To promote community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for sailing". 

In helping to meet this objective the TSTA seeks to:

• Encourage , in particular, the involvement and development of young people

• Stimulate and promote participants motivation, aspirations and levels of achievement

• Develop knowledge of seamanship and practical skills relating to the safe participation in water sports

• Develop participants self confidence, self-asteem and ability to take on organisational roles.

The area of primary benefit served by the TSTA is the geographical area in and around Dundee, Scotland.
