BOOKING YOUR COURSE
If you wish to attend any of the courses
listed below, please call 01382 477516 or email
training@taysail.org for a
provisional reservation.
Shorebased Courses
Then for Shorebased Courses please print out and complete the Registration
Form (Microsoft Word) and send it together with the appropriate
fee(s) to the address given on the form.
Practical Courses
For all practical courses you will be
sent a Course Enrolment Form and will be asked to return this duly
completed along with the required course fees
As the time for your course approaches,
you will receive joining instructions.
COURSE VENUES
Shorebased Courses
The Shorebased Courses will be held in
the main clubhouse of the RTYC, Fort William House, 34 Dundee Road,
West Ferry, Dundee, DD5 1LX. There is limited parking in
the club car park. If it is full, then please park in Ellieslea
Road and not on Dundee Road, which is the main road from Dundee to
Broughty Ferry.

Practical on the Water Courses
All on the water courses will be held at
the TSTA / RTYC premises on the Grassy Beach, West Ferry, Dundee, which
lies at the foot of Ogilivie Road where you will find the RTYC carpark.
Ogilivie Road lies about 100m west of the main RTYC clubhouse. To reach the beach you must cross the main Dundee to Aberdeen
railway line on foot.
TAKE CARE. STOP - LOOK
BOTH WAYS - AND LISTEN.
Trains on this section of
line travel at high speed. Take
particular care when a train has just past; there maybe another
train approaching from the opposite direction!

Yachtmaster Theory Course |

All above dates are Saturdays. The course will start at 0915 on each day. |
The course fee is £195. There is a reduction on this fee of £20 for any member of an RYA affiliated club. RYA course papers are required. These will be available and payable at cost price. |

Day Skipper Theory Course |

17th & 31st October 2009 14th & 28th November 2009 9th & 23rd January 2010
All above dates are Saturdays. The course will start at 0915 on each day.

The fee for this course is
£50.
A reduced fee of £40 is
payable by any member of an
RYA affiliated club.
Upon passing the exam, a Certification Fee is payable to the RYA, who issue
certificates on behalf of the UK Maritime and Coastguard
Agency.
